MONASH FUTURE THINKERS
Australia in 2050
SATURDAY 7 MAY 2016 – MELBOURNE
How will our society look in 2050? How will technology change the way we interact? What will drive economic growth, and what will the jobs of the future be like? How could we power the future? How can we care for an ageing population?
Australia is at a critical moment. We need to make some urgent decisions about the future of our nation.
#FutureThinkers is a movement of passionate young people. We want to start the conversation about Australia’s long-term future. Monash Future Thinkers: Australia in 2050, backed by Better Teaching, Better Learning at Monash University, is our inaugural event, and you’re invited to join us and contribute your voice to this crucial dialogue.
The most innovative and game-changing ideas come out of interdisciplinary cross-pollination, so we’re bringing together the latest thinking across a whole range of fields—business, science, medicine, law, and government.
You’ll meet some brilliant people at Monash Future Thinkers: Australia in 2050. You’ll hear from experts at the cutting edge of their fields, and learn about exciting technological developments that could become commonplace in just a matter of years.
The event is proudly hosted at Monash University’s comfortable and expansive South One Lecture Theatre at the Clayton campus. Lunch and refreshments are included with registration.
